One MORE --- Can't quit creating with the Garden Blooms Stamp set

Just a bit of Metallic Magic for this card

The card is inspired by the card on page 110 of the Stampin' Up! annual catalog!

I can tell you how much fun it was to create this card. So different from any of the traditional cards and yet so easy .... Once I got started that is.

I primarily used the dies for this card.

I used 1/4" strips of Textured Metallic Specialty Paper and Silver Foil Sheets. I cut these into pieces that are approximately 1/4" long but I did not worry about being exact. I wanted to get a variety of width and length for interest.

I used tiny flowers cut from the same foil. You could use the flowers in the Country Flower Dies but because I had these already cut with the Around the Bend Dies, I used them and I think they are a great substitute.

I used the dies to cut the tub shape in Silver Foil. Then I punched an oval to set behind the tub and filled it with flowers (attached with glue dots). For the oval, I used the body for the bee from the Bee Builder Punch. But you could easily cut one by hand.

The card base is Basic Gray cardstock (8 1/2" x 5 1/2 folded in half) with a mat of Grey Granite (5 3/8" x 4 1/8") and then a front panel of Basic White (5 1/8 x 3 7/8").

A heat embossed greeting using Copper Embossing Powder and Adhesive-backed Sparkle Gems work to finish to finish the card.

I would love to know what you think ---just too much fun, right?

Flower Garden is a DELIGHTFUL new bundle from Stampin' Up!

You will love the new Flower Garden bundle!

The stamp set and the dies are versatile and fun to use. You can create intricate or simple cards, scrapbook pages, and projects with this bundle. Become your own artist.

I loved creating the tea pot with its lush green foliage --- just like I want to see plants growing in my home (LOL). And it's easy to add some bits of flowers and leaves to add interest. I chose Azure Afternoon and Old Olive Blends to color the tea pot and the greenery. The accents are cut from the same color cardstock. The card base is Basic Beige (new neutral color for Stampin' Up!)

If you don't have a ton of Designer Series Paper, don't worry! Make your own! I got this great idea from the 2024-2025 annual catalog on page 91. I used the Sketched Plaid stamp set to stamp in Craft Ink on the Basic Beige cardstock panel. When mounted on a mat of Crumb Cake cardstock, this became my card front. I loved the look - don't you?

The circle behind the tea pot planter comes from Country Lace Designer Series Paper. It is cut with the Deckled Circles dies.  I love the muted look it gives. A perfect backdrop for the lovely Azure Afternoon colored tea pot.

The Deckled Circle Dies are a must have - there are 14 dies with the largest at 5 3/4" and the smallest at 1". They will suit so many needs. The Country Lace Designer Series Paper is perfect. Lovey patterns with a soft color palette that won't overwhelm your project.

Coming May First ... Beautiful new products - So Excited!

We are all excited to share some new products that will be available to you on May 1! I think you will have so much fun creating your new wish list - remember! If that Wish List gets too long, you can take advantage of the WOW OFFER from Stampin' UP! - see below.

I am show casing the clever stamp set called Country Flowers.

This set comes with martching dies that will help to expand the great stamped images by adding details such as a bucket and flowers and leaves.

This set has some lovely sentiments too! Friendship, Sympathy and Love --- great additions to your craft supplies.

In this card, I used the potted leaf image, inked in Versamark, to stamp on the Country Lace Designer series paper. Then I used the white embossing powder to heat emboss the image. I punched 7 hexagon shapes, using the Hexagon Punch from the imbossed images and glued them to the background, trimming off the edges where appropriate. The background is also from Country Lace Designer Series Paper

I "fussy" cut the words "you did it", attaching them to a circle of basic White cardstock. The circle is cut with the wonderful set of dies in UnBounded Beauty.  Then I sprinkled the flowers, die cut from Calypso Coral, over the top, attaching them with a combination of Mini Glue Dots and Stampin' Dimensionals. To step this up a notch, I added more flowers in White and Petal Pink and used Wink of Stella to add some glam!

You can see all the products used in this card at the bottom of this post and I encourage you to shop early before your favorites run out.

Enjoy this and other card ideas, leave me a note! Tell me about your favorites.
